Abstract: Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in December 2019, the formulation of “Diagnostic Guidelines for Imaging of COVID-19” have been further enhanced the understanding of the value of CT imaging for novel coronavirus pneumonia among healthcare providers, and performed objective diagnoses by mastering the complementary relationship between clinical indicators, laboratory indicators and CT imaging manifestation. These guidelines were developed by the Chinese Infectious Disease Radiology Committee led by its directorswho also served as a leading role to organize the Chinese Research Hospital Society of Infection and Inflammation Radiology Special Committee, the Chinese Radiology Association of Infectious Disease Radiology Committee, the Chinese Radiographers Association of Infection Imaging Committee, Beijing Imaging Technology Innovation Alliance and other expert teams to jointly formulate these guidelines.This article will give an interpretation on the new guidelines.
