Abstract: Professor LIU Yaxian has been engaged in the treatment of malignant tumors in pure Chinese medicine for nearly 50 years. In clinical practice, the classical prescriptions emphasize the importance of “respecting classics”and“leaving classics”.“Respecting classics”means respecting and following the classics, and“leaving classics”means active thinking and getting out of the frame, application of classical prescriptions nimbly. According to the experiments which I have learned from my teacher, I cite the following cases of effective treatment with classical prescriptions.
