Abstract: The incidence of low back pain is high, which brings a burden to society and personal life. Breathing training, as a convenient, effective and low-cost treatment method, has been gradually applied to the field of rehabilitation of low back pain. Breathing training programs include diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal breathing, reverse abdominal breathing, and resistance breathing. They improve back pain by activating core muscle groups, enhancing intraabdominal pressure, improving proprioceptive input, and regulating nerves and blood vessels. The effects and limitations of these intervention programs were comprehensively analyzed to provide reference for further formulating respiratory training programs in patients with low back pain.
