Abstract: Objective To explore the continuing care experience and needs of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and provide a basis for formulating personalized follow-up care. Methods The phenomenological research method of qualitative research was adopted, and the semi-structured interview method was used to collect data by face-to-face in-depth interviews with patients with inflammatory bowel disease, and the collected data were collated and thematic analysis was carried out by NVivo 11 software and thematic analysis method. Results 10 patients with inflammatory bowel disease were interviewed, and a total of 3 themes were extracted. Conclusion Nursing staff should pay attention to the continuing care experience and needs of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, and provide more follow-up support and help for patients.
