Abstract: Objective To dig out modern Chinese medicine's dialectics and medication rules of HSP.Methods The related materials on how Chinese medicine applied in treating the disease were collected and selected to build a data base. Use TCMISS to dig out dialectics and medication rules of the disease. Results The main signs and symptoms were The bleeding due to blood-heat,Yin deficiency,blood heat syndrome,excessive noxious heating involving visceral,lung,spleen,stomach,kidney. Most of the highly used medicine can cool blood for hemostasis,8 new prescriptions used for the treatment of different periods of the disease were unearthed. Conclusion The disease is in accordance with the transmission law of the blood. Heat-clearing medicines should be used as the main medicines in the whole treating process.
