Abstract: The Tang dynasty not only set up specialized medical educational institutions from the central to the local level, but also had a wide variety of medical teachers and students to teach and temples of religious medical dissemination activities. There are many types of medical education, the implementation of branch teaching, showing the characteristics of multi-relevant and professional co-existing, paying attention to teaching assessment, combined with the examination to establish the status of national school management. The construction of medical teaching materials in Tang dynasty made remarkable achievements and played an important role in the training of medical education talents.
