Abstract: Objective To investigate the current states of human resources and existing scientific basis for the related government departments to make some relevant policy.Methods 40 city community health service stations of Baoding were randomly selected on the basis of the references designed questionnaire about community health service station of human resources. A survey about city community health service station of human resources in Baoding was carried out. Results The proportion of doctor to nurse was 1∶0.65. Male accounted for 24.70%, female 75.30%. Age group was mainly concentrated in 30-40, accounted for 39.51%. The proportion of the medical workers with college degree was the highest ( 55.97%), non-college degree was the next( 22.41%), master degree accounted only for 1.24%. The majority doctors were with primary and intermediate professional titles, doctors specialized in western medicine and doctors in traditional Chinese medicine accounted for 48.57%, 59.52% respectively, the vast majority of nurses had primary professional titles ( 88.54%). The medical workers were poor in scientific research, each published article was less than 0.5 on average. Almost all the people thought it necessary to carry out community service and they would like to join in the community activities. Conclusion There is a serious imbalance between the proportion of doctors to nurses in city community services, an unreasonable gender ratio, the academic degree of the medical workers is low, they have unreasonable structure of professional titles, the scientific research level of them is very low.
