Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of the blending instructional teaching mode in the standardized training of gynecological residents. Methods 54 residents were randomly divided into blending instructional teaching groups and traditional teaching groups, each with 27 people, who were trained as the standardization of resident physicians in the gynecology department of Shengjing Hospital affiliated China Medical University in 2017. The teaching effects of different teaching methods were evaluated with objective performance measurement, subjective assessment of students and self-evaluation of teachers. Results The average scores of theory examination, practical skill and clinical intellectual in the blending instructional teaching group were significantly higher than that of the traditional teaching group.The satisfaction rate of students in the blending instructional teaching to the evaluation of teaching methods was significantly higher than that of the traditional teaching group,the difference was statistically significant; The questionnaire survey showed that all teachers believed that the blending instructional teaching had more advantages than traditional teaching. Conclusion With its advantages of strong integration and combination of theory and practice, the blending instructional teaching brings more space to clinical practice teaching, and adapt to the current trend of teaching development, which can effectively improve the effectiveness of standardized training for gynecological residents.
