Abstract: Objective To evaluate the structural validity of the questionnaire on factors affecting the long-term care needs of the disabl edelderly. Methods Data on factors affecting the long-term care needs of 508 disabled elderly people were conveniently extracted from 10 elderly care institutions in Baoding city in 2018, and a confirmatory factor analysis model was constructed and analyzed using AMOS 24.0.Results The basic fit of the initial model was good, but the overall fit was poor(χ2/df=5.338,RMSEA=0.093,GFI=0.859,AGFI=0.829,CFI=0.847,TLI=0.829,IFI=0.847).The initial model was revised, and the standardized factor load of the measured variables of the revised model was 0.676-0.876, and the overall fit was good(χ2/df=1.031,RMSEA=0.008,GFI=0.972,AGFI=0.964,CFI=0.999,TLI=0.999,IFI=0.999).The content of the revised questionnaire includes three dimensions of internal stressors(6), interpersonal stressors(4)and external stressors(8), with a total of 18 items. The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale is 0.879, and the Cronbach's α coefficients of the three dimensions are 0.888, 0.829 and 0.913 respectively. Conclusion The revised questionnaire has good structural validity and can be used to measure the factors affecting the long-term care needs of the disabled elderly.
