Abstract: Objective To explore the effects and inlfuence factors of the patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH) after operation and analyze the causes of death after operation. Methods Clinical data of 324 cases with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage after operation was analyzed retrospectively, and tried to find out the primary related reasons of death based on the analysis. Results The patient’s consciousness obstructive level when they were admitted into hospital was more severe, the mortality was more higher. The mortality in IV, V level was increased obviously (P<0.01). The mortality was higher in the group that hemorrhage amount was larger. When hemorrhage >80mL, it was significant (P<0.01). The hemorrhage was deeper, the mortality was higher. The mortality increased significantly in the group of thalami and intraventricular hemorrhage (P<0.05). The important factors of the direct cause of death were pernicious intracranial hypertension and pulmonary infection in complications (P<0.01). Conclusion Consciousness obstructive level, regions of hemorrhage, amount of hemorrhage, and complications were important factors that affected the postoperation mortality in patient with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.
