Abstract: Objective To investigate the hygiene of appliance shopping in supermarket in Baoding and give the basis to enact hygiene and management regulation and disinfection measures for supermarket. Methods Random sampling methods were taken in 8 supermarkets in Baoding, 40 shopping carts and baskets were investigated, and the total numbers of colony, coli group and mildew were detected. Results The qualiifed rate was the lowest at the bottom of shopping carts and baskets. The rate was 20%, 15%. Conclusion Shopping carts and baskets investigated were contaminated to some extent. Relevant policy should be made by the departments, and it is high time to take reasonable measures to manage it.
