Clinical observation of aesthetic restoration with unprepared porcelain laminate veneer in front teeth

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effects of aesthetic restoration with unprepared porcelain laminate veneer in front teeth. Methods 100 teeth restored with unprepared Porcelain Laminate Veneer were collected and were examined periodically after 2 years, so as to record the completeness of the restored teeth, the satisfaction of the color and the sensitivity of the target teeth after the bond. Results 6 teeth failed out of the 100 teeth restored with unprepared porcelain laminate veneer. Success rate was 94.0%. Conclusion Unprepared porcelain laminate veneer can be used to treat the defect, space, and the discoloration of the front teeth. Successful clinical results can be achieved. Therefore it is a reliable technique for restoring front teeth aesthetically.
