Abstract: Objective To explore the function and significance of early nursing intervention measures in the neonatal vomiting. Methods 168 cases of full-term newborn infant were randomly divided into control group and intervention group. The control group were given routine care after birth and the intervention group were given a series of early nursing intervention. Results The incidence of neonatal vomiting was 4.76%in intervention group and 47.61% in the control group. There were significant differences between the control group and intervention group in the incidence of neonatal vomiting, the decline of the body mass, the incidence of hypoglycemia in 24 h, and the duration of physiological jaundice in newborn(P<0.05). Conclusion Early nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of neonatal vomiting. Other symptoms were found and the corresponding treatment were given in time.
