Abstract: Objective To evaluate the control effect of radioprotection in redevelopment of construction project of nuclear medicine department in a hospital.Methods Through survey on the spot hygienics,radiological protection detection and according to the national radiological methods of the relevant laws,regulations and standards,the Construction Project’s Control Evaluation of Radioprotection was evaluated. Results The surrounding radiation levels of the nuclear medicine department,the γ ambient dose equivalent rate were between0.22 μSv/h and 0.34 μSv/h,the β surface contamination level were between 0.06 Bq/cm2 and 0.32Bq/cm2, workers of different post received radiation at different doses, the doses were below the national standards. Conclusion The shielding of the nuclear medicine department is feasible and which is conform to the national standards.
