Abstract: Objective To appraise the clinical effects of the Yiqi Yangyin method in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods Domestic and foreign related databases for literature about precancerous conditions of CAG were examined to evaluate the efficacy of TCM treating way, and Meta-analysis was performed by the software Rev Man 5.3. Results 17 RCTs including 1586 patients accorded with criteria were included. Compared with western medicine, Yiqi Yangyin methods were more effective in improving clinical efficacy, endoscopic efficacy,lower untoward effect and the difference was significant(P<0.000 01). Conclusion The literature included in this system evaluation indicates that the therapeutic effect of Yiqi Yangyin method is more effective in clinical efficacy, endoscopic efficacy than that of western medicine. Since the evidence intensity of this Meta-analysisis are limited, the above conclusions are still validated by more high-quality studies.
