Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status and factors related to resilience among MSM. Methods We investigated 312 MSM living with HIV in one infectious disease hospital using connor-davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC), perceived social support scale(PSSS), kessler psychological distress scale(K10). Results The total score of CD-RISC was 62.66±14.84, the resilience was positively correlated with social support(r=0.358,P<0.001)and negatively related to psychological distress(r=-0.380,P<0.001). Multiple regression analysis showed that economic status, other support in social support and depression in psychological distress were significant predictors of resilience, which explained 25.0% of the variance. Conclusion Resilience of HIV-positive MSM was at moderate level. Good social support system and better economic conditions would help improve their resilience. In addition, medical staff should focus on the mental health state of patients and improve the depression of them.
