Abstract: Card game is a new way to promote advance care planning(ACP), and there have been theoretical discussions and practical experience in some developed countries and regions. At present, the relevant research on ACP in our country is still in its infancy, and it is necessary to learn from the advanced concepts and experience of foreign card games to construct an ACP gamification communication mode that could conform to Chinese cultural characteristics. This paper reviews the design details, intervention tools, intervention effects, deficiencies and suggestions of card games in order to provide reference for medical workers to formulate ACP implementation strategies and carry out related research.
