Abstract: Intravenous amiodarone is an important treating therapy for arrhythmias, but peripheral infusion is associated with direct irritation of vessel walls and phlebitis, manifested as local redness, swelling, heat and pain, which increases the pain of patients. This article reviews the criteria of phlebitis, the causes of phlebitis and the prevention and treatment measures in order to provide the basis for clinical nursing work.
