Abstract: Objective To discuss the application of internet+3D printing model in basic skills training of laparoscopic surgery. Methods Twenty-four trainees of standardized training of surgical residents were randomly divided into 4 groups.Group A, B, C, and D received basic laparoscopic skills training with traditional model, animal tissue, 3D printing model, internet+3D printing model. After training, animal tissue sample and objective structured assessment of technical skills(OSATS)were used to evaluate the training effects. After evaluation, groups A, B and C adopted additional training of other models, then Likert five-category scale was used to evaluate the similarity between traditional models, 3D printed models and real organizations. Results The 3D printing model is better than the traditional model and similiar to the real tissue in terms of vision, touch, toughness, needle insertion force, and knot tension. The OSATS scores in groups A, B, C and D were 17.92±0.74, 22.17±1.60, 21.92±1.20, 21.58±1.07, respectively(F=22.5, P<0.01).Conclusion The internet+3D printing model is significantly better than the traditional model, and can achieve a training effect equivalent to that during face-to-face training using animal tissue or 3D printing model.
