Abstract: Objective To explore the design and application of micro-class combined with flipped teaching in teaching clinical blood transfusion in interns. Methods A total of 207 interns from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 100 interns in the control group and 107 interns in the experimental group. The interns in the control group were managed by traditional teaching methods, while those in the experimental group were taught by micro-class combined with flipped teaching mode, and a questionnaire survey on subjective learning experience was designed. Daily content completion rate of students in the experimental group was monitored according to feedback on wechat platform. The two groups of interns were compared in theoretical assessment, operational assessment, satisfaction with teaching results and the evaluation of blood transfusion department staff. Results The theoretical test score of interns in the experimental group was(88.08±7.21)points, which was higher than that in the control group(72.35±5.43)points, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). By comparing the scores of the two groups of interns, the scores of the experimental group(90.45±5.82)were higher than those of the control group(74.92±7.51), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Comparing the two groups of interns' satisfaction with teaching, including teaching method satisfaction, mastery, problem-solving ability, analytical ability and initiative, the experimental group interns' satisfaction was significantly higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Compared with the evaluation of blood transfusion department staff on the two groups of interns, the satisfaction of the experimental group interns was significantly higher than that of the control group interns, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Teaching clinical blood transfusion in interns through micro-class combined with flipped teaching mode can significantly improve students' enthusiasm, improve practical operation ability, increase satisfaction, promote teacher-student relationship, reduce disputes, and is worth popularizing.
