Abstract: Carcinomatous polyarthritis is one of the easily neglected clinical complications of malignancy. With the continuous progress of modern medicine, cancerous polyarthritis has received more and more attention. In clinical practice, western medicine has its limitations and poor efficacy in the treatment of cancerous polyarthritis, but Chinese medicine has achieved good results in the understanding and treatment of this disease due to its unique advantages of “holistic concept and evidence-based treatment”. We believe that the pathogenesis of cancerous polyarthritis is closely related to the accumulation of cancerous toxins, external exposure to evil spirits and physical factors, and that the basic pathogenesis of the disease is “Yangxu xiecou, Tanyu hujie”. The treatment can achieve satisfactory results, and a effective case were attached to prove it.
