Abstract: The historical theoretical evaluation of the research on the history of traditional Chinese medicine lacks systematic representative achievements. From the perspective of problem oriented research of medical history theory, the construction of historical history is of practical significance for revealing the development law of TCM discipline and improving the understanding of historical dimensions. Under the trend of Chinese philosophy of “subjective consciousness”, the historical research with Chinese cultural characteristics and the evaluation of historical research with Chinese philosophical spirit and personality are conducive to the research paradigm. To explore a more mature path in the research orientation of medical history will benefit the development and innovation of medical history in the new era.
