Research on the delicacy management model of the second classroom for emergency medicine professional master's degree programs

Abstract: Objective In response to the numerous drawbacks of the current “parallel training” model for professional master's degree(specialized master's)education, a more scientific and effective second classroom training system for emergency medicine master's students has been constructed to comprehensively and rapidly enhance the core competencies required for advanced applied professionals. Methods This study developed a systematic second classroom training program and explored its implementation through a delicacy management teaching model among 24 emergency medicine professional master's students from the classes of 2020-2023 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. Results During the training period, the competency of emergency medicine master's students significantly improved across the board, with student satisfaction reaching 91.66% and instructor satisfaction as high as 97.14%.Conclusion Practice has demonstrated that the integration of the second classroom, systematic training, and delicacy management into the education of emergency medicine master's students has high practical value.
