Advances on the treatment and clinical assessment in Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome

Abstract: To solve the problem of sexual roles and sexual life of patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome, the functional vagina need to be established. Non-surgical and surgical treatments were commonly in clinical at present. Numerous studies have described different methods of vaginoplasty and assessed clinical outcomes including the anatomy and function of the artiifcial vagina, long-term prognosis, and the complication rate. The most appropriate treatment methods are choiced by doctors according to the patient's condition and surgeon experiences.
