Abstract: Objective To explore the syncope causes and its nursing countermeasures in college students conducted physical examination through venous blood collection. Methods The causes were analyzed in 11 cases of college students registered in 2013 occurred syncope during physical examination through venous blood collection, and the corresponding nursing measures were put forward. The methods of physical check-up work in 2014 was reformed. The incidence of 2013 and 2014 syncope causes of the examinated students were compared. Results Our results indicated that there were a statistically significant differences between 2014 and 2013 in the examined students (P<0.01). Conclusion Through the analysis of the syncope causes of the college students and taking corresponding measures can effectively reduce the incidence of syncope in college students.
