Abstract: Objective To observe the effects of dialectical applying ear acupuncture point buried beans to reduce the pain in justification of common type of primary dysmenorrheal. Methods Fifty cases of patients with primary dysmenorrhea in after syndrome differentiation were given corresponding ear acupuncture point buried beans. 0.5 h later pain reliefs with patients were assessed and the recurrence of the patients with periodic pain was examined. Results In iffty patients with various types of primary dysmenorrheal, 49 cases eased the pain in half an hour, the total effective rate was 98.0%. In 36 patients with periodic pain, 31 cases relieved, the effective rate was 86.1%. Conclusion The method of dialectical applying ear acupuncture point buried beans can effectively alleviate pain in patients with primary dysmenorrhea.
