Abstract

Abstract: Hospice care have been covered in medical service system in many countries across the world. China has a big demand for hospice care and currently starts to advocate the principles of hospice and develop programs of hospice in practice. The history,development and current status of hospice care worldwide are described,and the developmental prospect of hospice care in China in terms of enhancing top-level design,improving medical insurance, and establishing Hospice care service system are also discussed.
