Abstract: The problem of life and death of the elderly is the fundamental problem of the protection of the rights and interests of the elderly. Peaceful care aims to alleviate the afflictions of patients at the end of clinical practice, do our utmost to respect, conform to and fulfill my wishes, greet death naturally, it is the embodiment of respecting the basic rights of citizens' life and health. Personal dignity should be sacred and inviolable, the authority should actively respect and protect the dignity of citizens, establish the legal effect of living will, improve the supply of hospice care services, establish a national social security system for hospice care, improve healthy and orderly development of hospice care services, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly and the dignity of the human person.
