Abstract: Objective To understand the cognition, attitude and influencing factors of medical staffs on hospice care. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 426 medical staffs in Shijiazhuang area. SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used for data processing and analysis. The frequency and percentage were used for statistical description, and the influencing factors were analyzed by chi-square test. Results 91.3% of the medical staffs surveyed knew the hospice treatment. The older medical staffs with higher education and professional titles had higher awareness of ergotherapy. At the attitude, 49.5% of the medical staffs chose to receive hospice care, and the medical staffs with high professional titles, long working years, aged, married, and males had a higher rate of receiving hospice care. Conclusion Medical staffs have a higher awareness rate and a more cautious approach to hospice care. The difference in hospice attitudes is mainly reflected in age, gender, professional title, working years, and marital status. Health care professionals need to strengthen the professional training of hospice care and lay the foundation for further hospice care services.
