Abstract: In recent years, the incidence of hypothyroidism has been increasing. Numerous studies have demonstrated a correlation between vitamin D, ferritin, and hypothyroidism. This article reviews current domestic and international understanding of hypothyroidism, as well as research on the relationship between vitamin D and ferritin levels with hypothyroidism, aiming to clarify their correlation. The purpose is to explore the feasibility of supplementing vitamin D and iron as adjunctive treatments for hypothyroidism, thereby providing potential support for its management.
