Abstract: Objective To observe the expression of CyclinD1、VEGF、SMA-α in the lung through making asthmatic modeling rats. Methods Sixteen males SD rats were randomly assigned into control group and asthma group, each group had eight rats. The mice were sensitized ovalbumin, then they were challenged with ovalbumin to establish the asthmatic model. The lung function were detected. The sections were stained with HE to assess the inflammatory cell infiltrates. Masson staining was used to detect the expression of collagen in the mice lungs. VEGF levels in serum were measured by enzyme linked-immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of SMA-α in the mice lungs. Western blot were applied to examine the expression of CyclinD1 in the lungs. Results The bronchial provocation test showed that, in the asthmatic group, the average expiratory resistance increased remarkably, the expression of collagen, VEGF, SMA-α and CyclinD1 was obviously increased than that of the control group(P<0.05). There were positive correlation between CyclinD1 with SMA-α in asthmatic modeling rats(r=0.68, P<0.05), as well that were positive correlation in control group(r=0.54, P<0.05). There were positive correlation between VEGF with collagen in asthmatic modeling rats(r=0.56, P<0.05), as well that were positive correlation in control group(r=0.48, P<0.05). Conclusion CyclinD1and VEGF are playing an important role in airway remodeling.
