Abstract: Objective To explore the Chinese medicine dialectical medication rule of polycythemia vera by applying translational medicine study to promote the process of new drug research and development.Methods The relevent medical case of TCM treatment of polycythemia vera disease were collected and analyzed by using Chinese medicine inheritance auxiliary system software data to explore polycythemia vera syndrome of TCM drug laws,and find new drug prescriptions.Results Based on 81 medical records,the appearance frequency of common syndromes,treatment,frequency of drug and the association rules between drugs were examined,32 core combinations and seven new prescriptions were also determined from the database.Conclusion Chinese medicines are commonly used in promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,clear heat and nourish Yin,clear heat and detoxicate,clear the liver and drain the fire efficacy to treat polycythemia vera disease.By using translational medicine conception to study this disease can apply its research achievements quickly to clinical practice.
