Advances on the study of the relationship between hypothyroidism and infertility

Abstract: In recent years,the incidence of female infertility is increasing,studies have shown that it is closely related to the regulation of gonad axis and sex hormones.Thyroid disease has long been a concern,it is the second most common endocrine disorders in women of childbearing age,including hypothyroidism and thyroid dysfunction related which is the most common in clinical.With the deepening of the study of these two diseases and related hormones,the correlation between the two is deepened.When the thyroid gland axis and related hormone levels changed,the gonad axis and the regulation of ovarian function are going to be affected,causing a corresponding change of the sex hormone levels to a certain extent.Consequently,the relationship between thyroid hormone,sex hormone,thyroid axis and gonad axis plays an important role in normal pregnancy process.The progresses of researches about the correlation between hypothyroidism and thyroid dysfunction related and infertility are summarized.
