Study on the differences between teaching film-reading and case discussion in standardized resident training

Abstract: In the standardized resident training, clinical instruction teachers in the medical imaging profession have obvious confusion about how to carry out teaching film-reading, with the main confusion is how to accurately distinguish between teaching film-reading and teaching case discussion. Deeply considering this and constructing the key points for distinguishing between them is beneficial for the standardized development of standardized resident training in medical imaging majors. Based on the differences in the core ideas between teaching film-reading and case discussion, the differences in teaching content, case sources, image analysis, classroom performance are discussed. This will help clinical instruction teachers to correctly understand and carry out teaching film-reading and avoid confusion with case discussion
