Abstract: Septic shock is a disease based on sepsis, with progressive aggravation of infection, hemodynamic instability, hypotension after adequate fluid resuscitation, and no other cause of hypotension to follow. Fluid resuscitation plays an important role in the treatment of septic shock, which is the initial step and cornerstone of the treatment of septic shock. It aims to increase cardiac output and improve tissue oxygenation. This paper summarizes and discusses the latest research developments in the physiological mechanism, type of resuscitation fluid, dose of resuscitation fluid and monitoring indicators of resuscitation fluid, in order to deepen the understanding of septic shock and its liquid resuscitation strategy, and provide reference for the clinical treatment and research of septic shock.
