The disease warning of hyperhomocysteinemia and its research significance

Abstract: To review the disease warning of hyperhomocysteinemia and its research significance in recent years, the paper accessed to relevant documents, summarized the research results and demonstrated our suggestions based on the analysis. Homocysteine (Hcy) is a non-essential amino acids in the human body. The normal range of serum Hcy varies in accordance with age and gender. Hyperhomocysteinemia is closed related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, diabetic nephropathy and other chronic diseases. In this regard, it is significant to clarify its pathogenesis, establish the diagnosis check of “H-type diseases”, screen and develop of drugs and accumulate clinical therapeutic strategies.
