The application of PBL teaching in cardiac surgery

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of the application of PBL teaching in cardiac surgery. Methods The control group and the experimental group were taught with traditional teaching mode and teaching of PBL, the teaching effectiveness were determined by examining the basics concepts of assessment, clinical analytical reasoning capabilities, IT and document retrieval usage, actively involved in clinical practice, clinical practice skills, self-psychological assessment. Results The achievements of the experimental group were better than that of the control group. Conclusion PBL teaching method in Cardiac Surgery can improve teaching effects significantly.
