Abstract: Objective To explore puncture in the treatment of tuberculous serositis complications and disposal methods. Methods Some causes failed with puncture, catheter occlusion, hemorrhage, bleeding at the puncture point, gas into serous cavity problem resulted from using disposable dispenser pack treating in the patients with tuberculosis serositis were analysed, and some appropriate disposal methods were explored. Results Through timely and symptomatic treatment, significant effects were achieved. Conclusion Puncture in treating tuberculous serositis has good effects, but also prone to arise some complications, thus, proper treatments should be taken to reduce its incidence.
