Abstract: Objective To study the relationship between expression of PTEN and survival prognosis of NSCLC. Methods 62 cases with non-small cell lung cancer conducted radical surgical resection and 14 cases done adjacent normal tissue were selected and examined PTEN protein by immunohistochemical SP method to explore its relationship with the survival of the patients. Results The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between PTEN expression of cancer and normal tissues adjacent groups. There were statistically signiifcant differences about the PTEN expression between the positive group and the negative group (P<0.05). Conclusion The low expression of PTEN in non-small cell lung cancer shows that PTEN plays an important role in the development of non-small cell lung cancer, which is signiifcantly associated with the survival time of the patients.
