Abstract: Dignity therapy is an individualized psychotherapy that is developed for the purpose of increasing personal value and sense of dignity for dying patients through interview.In the interview, patients are invited to open their hearts, and share their feelings and emotions. Although the attention on palliative care is significantly increasing, the development of dignity therapy in China is still in early stage.The issues of dignity and dignity therapy are reviewed in this article.
