Abstract: Endothelial microparticles are a hotspot in recent years. They are a class of subcellular-level membrane microparticles released by endothelial cells under the stimulation of activation and apoptosis. Their composition and biological characteristics are different due to external stimuli. The meaning is different in the process of disease development. Endothelial particles are associated with information transmission, coagulation, inflammation, vascular injury, and regeneration. Under pathological conditions, the concentration of endothelial particles in the blood is significantly elevated and can be detected in many kidney diseases. Therefore, endothelial particles are associated with kidney disease, which may play a role in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease.
