Abstract

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effects of early application of the detoxification method in the treatment of pneumonia after cerebral infarction. Methods 146 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n=73), then, the differences between the treatment group and the control group after 7 days of treatment were compared. In the treatment group, western medical treatment and Qingrehuatanjiedutang were applied simultaneously. The patients of the control group were treated only by western medicine. The changes of inflammatory factors such as CPIS score, TNF-α, PCT and CRP in the two groups were observed. Results After statistical analysis, the effects of the treatment group on post-stroke pneumonia were statistically significant, P<0.05 or P<0.01. Conclusion Early application of the detoxification method can be used to treat the pneumonia associated with cerebral infarction and improve the quality of life of patients.
