Abstract: Objective To explore the satisfaction of exercise-behavior health management services provided by community medical and health institution of older adults, and analyze relevant influencing factors so as to provide basis for further improving the quality of exercise-behavior health management services for the elderly. Methods A stratified-clustered randomized sampling method was used to select 354 elderly people aged 70 years old. Results The frequency ‘sometimes’ of exercise-behavior inquiry, exercise-behavior advice and exercise-behavior guidance by community doctors was the highest, with 59.89%, 49.43% and 51.69%, respectively, while the frequency ‘never’ accounted for 15.25%, 28.25% and 37.85%, respectively. Multiple-factor analysis showed that satisfaction of exercise-behavior health management services were statistically related with age, education level, current status of chronic diseases, the frequency of exercise-behavior advice by community doctors and the frequency of exercise-behavior guidance by community doctors. Conclusion The level of exercise-behavior health management services provided by community medical and health institution for the elderly is still not high. It is suggested to further improve the frequency of exercise-behavior health management services provided by community medical and health institution and increase the specific contents of doctors'orders directing to older adults. It is suggested that community doctors should regularly give suggestions on exercise and give specific guidance on exercise for the elderly when providing basic public health services.
