Abstract: Objective To understand the current situation of college students' anxiety and depression in colleges and universities, analyze the related factors of college students' anxiety and depression, and provide evidence for the development of college students' psychological problems prevention and treatment. Methods The questionnaires were designed with the self-rating anxiety scale and the depression self-assessment scale. Stratified cluster sampling method was used to randomly select students of university to carry out surveys. Results The prevalence of anxiety was 22.73% in college students of the university, and the average score of anxiety self-rating anxiety scale was 43.18±8.66 points, the prevalence of depression was 29.32%, and the average score of depression self-rating scale was 47.14±10.59 points. Anxiety was influenced by gender, family type, left behind experience, and whether always stays up late, depression was influenced by the type of professional, the type of family, and whether always stays up late. Conclusion The prevalence of anxiety and depression among college students is higher, and the intervention should be accurately targeted.
