Abstract

Abstract: Spasticity is caused by the motor neuron damage on one of the most common movement dysfunction, the speed increased muscle tone as the main form of expression, which is one of the major complications of stroke patients with hemiplegia.Because of the persist for cramps, joint deformity caused by cerebral stroke patients, decreased activity, and body contracture, leaving patients walking ability and ability of daily life of the recovery of severely hindered, the final result is the patient's quality of life is reduced.In order to improve this situation, there are numerous clinical methods for the treatment of muscle spasm in stroke hemiplegia patients with different effects.This paper mainly reviews the developments in the diagnosis and treatment of limb muscle spasticity in stroke hemiplegia patients in recent five years in detail.
