Abstract: Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Kangfuxin solution external application in the treatment of facial hormone-dependent dermatitis. Methods A total of 96 patients with hormone-dependent dermatitis were collected in the outpatient department. Of those, 48 patients were given a local cold compress with Kangfuxin solution and the others were given a cold compress with normal saline. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results Through the comparison and analysis of the scores of the two groups, the difference in scores at different times was statistically significant(F=16.340, P<0.001), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(F=12.785, P<0.001).The score of Kangfuxinye group was significantly higher than that of normal saline group. Of the 48 patients in the Kangfuxinye group, 39 were cured, 8 cases were markedly effective, and 1 case improved; in the normal saline group, 36 cases were cured, 10 cases were markedly effective, and 2 cases improved. There was no statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(Z=0.765, P>0.05). The recurrence rates observed in the Kangfuxinye group were 4.17%, 6.25%, and 10.42% at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after treatment; and the recurrence rates of the normal saline group were: 18.75%, 25.00%, and 35.42%. The difference in recurrence rate was statistically significant(P<0.05)between these two groups. Conclusion Kangfuxin solution has a good effect in the treatment of hormone-dependent dermatitis and can reduce the recurrence of the disease.
