Correlation analysis between nurses' occupational well-being and practice environment in general hospital in Baoding

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To investigate the current situation and correlation of nurses' professional happiness and practice environment in general hospital in Baoding city. Methods 1 935 nurses from 7 general hospitals in Baoding were selected to investigate the general situation questionnaire, medical workers' occupational happiness scale and nurse practice environment assessment scale to analyze the current quo of nurses' professional happiness and practice environment, and analyze the correlation between the two. Results Total score of nurse occupational well-being was 80.44±12.11. Total score of nurse practice environment was 70.70±22.34.There was a positive correlation between practice environment and nurse occupational well-being(r=0.614, P<0.01). Conclusion The higher the score of nurse practice environment, the higher the score of nurse's professional happiness. A good nurse practice environment can improve the professional happiness of nurses.
