Abstract: Objective To explore the sense of peace of in-patients to nurses' nursing behavior and its influencing factors so as to provide a basis for strengthening nurses' trust and optimizing nursing behavior. Methods “Nurse-patient relationship trust scale” was used to investigate and analyze the sense of peace and influencing factors of in-patients in grade IIIA hospitals. Results Patients' scores of “sense of peace” were 3.34 ± 0.42, “I am more natural in front of the nurse”(3.63 ± 0.55)scored highest on the item that made the patient feel comfortable. “Nurses don't blame them for doing things they shouldn't”(2.84 ±0.98)and “I barely manage to be a good patient in front of nurses”(2.85 ±1.08)scored the lowest. Different patients in internal medicine or surgery, the occupation and family income of the patients are the influencing factors of their sense of peace of mind. Conclusion Patients' sense of security plays a lower role than their trust in nurses' skills and behaviors and confidence in the future in the process of building patients' trust in nurses. Surgical non-public officials and middle-income patients feel less comfortable about nursing behavior, nurses should pay more attention to this part of patients in nursing work, and promote their sense of peace of mind with more positive attitude and behavior.
