Abstract: Objective To explore the evidence-based nursing in the treatment of knee joint osteoarthritis under the arthroscope. Methods102 cases who had knee osteoarthritis from January 2012 to January 2014 were randomly divided into the treatment group (51 cases) and the control group (51 cases). The patients of the control group were given routine nursing care, the patients of the treatment group were given evidencebased nursing. The knee joint pain and daily function score, patient’ satisfaction and early functional exercise adherence were analyzed. Results (1) The level of knee pain and daily function score had significant difference between the 2 groups (t= 2.033, 2.073; P<0.05). (2) The satisfaction rate was 82.3% (42/51) and 100.0% (51/51) in the controls and the experimental group respectively. It had significant difference between the 2 groups (Z= 9.365, P<0.05). (3) The compliance degree had no significant difference between the 2 groups before treatment (χ2=0.025, P>0.025). The compliance degree had significant difference between the 2 groups after treatment (χ2=5.144, P>5.144).Conclusion Applying evidence-based nursing in treating knee osteoarthritis under arthroscopy can improve the function of knee pain and daily score and the patients' satisfaction and early functional exercise adherence
