Abstract: Objective To analyze the cancer incidence and mortality of Tangxian in 2018. Methods In accordance with the methods and criteria of data quality control made by National Central Cancer Registry(NCCR), the crude rate, standard rate and proportion of leading cancers were calculated. Results In 2018, there were 1 292 new cases of malignant tumors and 621 deaths in Tangxian.The crude incidence of malignant tumors was 236.43/10⁵, and age-standardized incidence rate by Chinese standard population(ASR China)was 184.60/10⁵. The crude mortality of malignant tumors was 113.64/10⁵, and ASR China was 74.91/10⁵. The top 5 malignant tumors were lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal anal cancer. The top 5 deaths were lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer and Brain and Central Nervous System. Conclusion Lung cancer and female breast cancer are the most common malignant tumors. Prevention and control work should be carried out in a targeted way.
